SINGLE QUALIFIER BOARDS - Sign Up!

Postby dnowlin » Fri Feb 05, 2010 12:45 pm

 We are taking sign ups for Single Qualifier Boards for the Fall Regionals. Please use this area to sign up. Leave your name and skill level and as soon as we have enough participants in your skill level we will run a board. A NOTE TO LOWER SKILL LEVEL PLAYERS: The 2's -3's tier for the spring regionals has 5 players on it. That means 1 of the 5 will be going to Vegas paid for by the APA. Where can you get better odds than that for $15.00....

David McCauley SL 5 for both 8 & 9-ball. Div. Rep.
I will play and/or run either a per-person pays ($15.00 per person for 8 players + green fees if any) board or a winner pays the board ($101.0 + green fees if any).
Let me know which type of board you would like per-person pays or winner pays the board when you sign-up?

Just a reminder for those who are set on trying to make it to Singles National, playing on a guaranteed board (winner pays) could be cheaper in the long run with more chances to qualify for regionals. Because you only have to pay when you win the board.

Note: For those willing to pay/buy the board I only need 4 players.

Once there are enough players signed up I will setup the time and place and post it.

Play on a qualifier board and win (single elimination), and you get to enter the next round which is the regional qualifier. You still have to pay for your travel (the one next month is in Tucson, but if Doug and Gina get enough qualified, we could hold a regional tournament in Phoenix). If you win at the regional, you get paid travel to Vegas for the national tournament.

Need more 2's and 3's to sign -up for single qualifiers. Along with 4's, 5's, 6's and 7's, I know there are more then what has committed on the board so far. There are 5 to 8 people per team there are about 100 teams that means there are about 500 to 800 players that can sign-up for single qualifiers. So everyone get signed up and lets get regionals held here in Phoenix and let everyone else drive to us for a change. So get a group together and let me know so I can hold a qualifier for you.

Since the next two weeks are playoff weeks and all I get to do this time is watch the other teams play. I well hold single qualifiers for those who want to come up and play, just to keep in the swing of thing.
Place: Bullshooters 35th ave and Peoria
Days: May, Tuesday (11th & 18th), Wednesday (12th & 19th), and Thursday (13th & 20th).
Sign-up: 6:00pm
Start: 7:00pm

David McCauley (Div. Rep.)

If you are interested, e-mail/call Doug and Gina or just call my cell (602-568-2960).
If you post a reply on the message board, please put at the beginning of your reply "Playoff Single Qualifier" and the date you would like to play, and what qualifier 8-ball or 9-ball, this will help me and others see who has signed up for single qualifiers and dates. There needs to be at least 4 players to be able to run a board. If you have already signed up wanting to play in a single qualifier and have not yet play in one, here is your chance. Please be sure to put down the night and date you would like to play. Don't be shy about signing up just because you don't see anyone else some one has to sign-up first.
With that said, I will play on any qualifier board if a player is needed. David McCauley skill level 5 8-ball & 5 skill level 5 in 9-ball. Any challengers?
